About

The BUPNET lt has been operating for nearly three decades in the areas of project management, adult education and professional development and consulting.

With an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement innovative training and consulting projects at national and international level. The focus of this project are :

  • securing employment and career development of employees primarily small and medium-sized enterprises and the associated promotion of businesses
  • the professional reintegration of job seekers
  • the development and testing of innovative educational approaches and methods

Educational domains

We have been working in the planning, designing and delivery of courses and learning offers in the field of Adult, School, Higher and Vocational Education.

This has related to rarther formal topics like standardised CPD courses in different sectors like health, care, environment, IT, Energy or for specific groups like VET-educators or nurses or waste managers.

However we also do a lot of rather informal (or non-formal) learning courses for civic education, empowering disadvantaged groups like migrants, unemployed persons in different domains.

Personnel/Staff

We have between 15 and 25 full time employees with different backgrounds: teachers and educationalists, engineers, environmentalists, social scientists, IT experts and programmers, communication and media experts, economics and administration.

We work in interdisciplinary teams in regional, national, and European projects, partly in the development of new (for instance blended learning) educational concepts and projects and partly in the delivery of continuing priofessional development courses and infomal learning activities.

European aspects

At the European level, we have participated actively in the late 1990s as a coordinator or partner in transnational European projects.

The wide range of fields of action includes the areas of education, training , employment, social, health, culture, integration , regional development, justice , research and development, and environment and energy. The cross-border cooperation opens our eyes to new ways and creates synergies with our national activities.

Needs and competence developments - what are we looking for:

We would like to become even more European, this is what we also stated in our European Development Plan:

  • we have a number of interns from all over Europe: Some of our staff members look for courses relating to intercultural competences
  • The theme of validation becomes more and more inportant. Some colleagues would need a comprehensive course on that.
  • We work more and more with new media. But even though we are quite experts in the field there are new technologies and trends that we would like to explore. Hence IT based learning courses would be an asset for our teams.
  • Some of our team members would need also English courses related to European project management and administration.
  • We would be also interested in general courses on how to make our organisation more European and how to professionally network.
  • As some colleagues are working on Communication of European projects, especially in climate change mitigation and adaptation we are looking for innovative communication courses (e.g. on transmedia storytelling).
