Pupils from Kaunas region gymnasium (LT) collected PET bottles' caps during several months. Designers draw an ornament and pupils made it using colorful PET bottles' caps as a pavement mosaic in Kaunas old city Hall square. The activity united pupils from several classes of one gymnasium, boosted their creativity and understanding of sustainable ways of using PET for art and teamwork. The display attracted citizens of the city to the square as well as local media attention to sustainable ways of dealing with waist. After the display of several days, the mosaic was successfully recycled.

The activity is interesting and involving, students get the vision and are eager to collect more PET bottle caps. However, it takes time to collect a sufficient amount to make a presentable mosaic. Besides, it is important to emphasize the fact that pupils are not encouraged to consume more lemonades and other sweet drinks. They have to get ready for a rather long period of PET caps.
